Generally a quality flash tune is the way to go in terms of performance and reliability, However if warrantee is of prime concern JB4 has had decent results for many people!

No it’s what is generally referred to as a piggyback, it plugs in and alters signals basically. A full DME flash tune completely remaps how your car behaves- a quality one will be much more enjoyable to drive while keeping smooth and consistent power. I’m certainly not knocking JB4 at all, but 99% of people (money and warranty aside) would be better off with a quality flash tune! Just my opinion at the end of the day.

Flash is better, Dyno best , jb4 makes a methanol Kit, I have the piggy back already they have a map for adding it already loaded. I can’t find anyone in San Diego who will do the install though.

Totally agree with you, I actually asked a few longtime tuning experts and they said the methanol kit of course wouldn’t hurt anything but it would be likely overkill unless someone is really tracking and running their car extremely hard, I was going to consider it for my build I’m doing as I’ll buy whatever is needed and everyone talked me out of it, just my experience to share…
