20-07-525

I just update from 19-11-540 to 20-07-525 and only one action can't be programmed: Activate enabling code VIP ( FCA type ) see photos.
Exacuting measures ask me to download/import code "01B90001-IB-CT01-VDM Sport".

Somebody can help me to understand where can I find this code !?

Thanks,

Double check you don't already have it in ISTA vehicle report for FSC or esys.

0x01B9

Otherwise you need BMW to assist, provide the FSC I think. Did you check the measures plan prior to programming?

Edit: never mind, I see you have gone down the FSC repair pack route via a 3rd party. Lesson learned to check the programming measures before execution

Just curious, assuming no issue how long does it take to get a new i-step programmed with ISTA+ (and required power supply/connectors)?

Couple of hours if it's straightforward. Couple of days if you miss an FSC import requirement in the measures plan/programming notes

Makes me wonder how they expedite the process so quickly and efficiently on the RSU. The payload is targeted for the specific model hence much smaller, but it still needs to program and code each ECU.

Thanks! That looks consistent with a couple of my upgrades with the dealer (less other downtime of course).

I just had mine upgraded, and I dont really see any difference from 11/2019 other then android auto. Has anyone noticed anything substantial? It wiped out my coding, so I'm hoping I get something out of it at least

Hello friends, I'm trying to perform update now and get the same requirement. Any suggestions to save the code before programming starts?
