2024 Nardo Grey M60i

Went to the dealer to have the front axle serviced (there is a SB for friction discs on the front axle -- more on that in another post) and saw this brand-new 2024 X5 M60i in Nardo Grey (individual color that costs a cool $5K). Fully loaded for $105K+ as per the window sticker. I didn't want to ask how much the mark-up was (are they still marking up nowadays?) but, man, this is a beautiful color, so much so in person.

I noticed that the roof fin has a new shape. Must be a new thing for 2024. Also, the grill is wide open, unlike previous generations where it is auto-close. The grill below the front grill (where the DAP radar is) has some sort of louvers that perhaps are auto-close?

BMW West Houston has 2 M60i's on display. The other one is a Sapphire Black with Black Sensafin, missing a few options/packages.

Enjoy the pics, folks.

And here is the roof fin. This is new for MY2024, right?

My apologies. It is Nardo Grey, not Nordic Grey.

Yes, the fin antenna has been redesigned slightly for the LCI. Since M60i now has the same S68 (true M engine) as X5M, it doesn’t have grill shutters. I think what you saw below the main grill are the same auto closing horizontal shutters as on pre-LCI G05 although I’ve never seen mine close.

This is probably one of my fave individual colors. Looks sharp on the G05. Thanks for sharing OP!

Looks like the dealer pre-installed some M5 grilles, or maybe it was a factory swap. Love it.

No, that’s what OEM grills on M60i look like. It has the same engine as X5M along with the grill.
