It has gotten more difficult to finance this brands products I can see.

Looks like .0018 is the base for the X5. For the X6 it's .0021 (according to Edmunds forums). So you're being quoted the max markup of .0004 on top of the base.

Insist on the base rate or it’s a deal breaker. I’m certain you can find a dealer who is willing to do that assuming top tier credit.

I’m sure the 0.00210 has mark up as well.

I would not do the Select financing (balloon) on an X5 unless you truly plan to keep it for the full term and can make the balloon payment at the end. Any other scenario and you’ll likely be under water during the loan term. Very few of the BMW models truly make sense to do Select financing on (I.e M3).
