Just got my new 2024 X5 M60... I tried setting up my Digital Key on my Samsung S22. It works but I have to tap my phone on the doorhandles to unlock and lay the phone on the wireless charger to "START" the car. The "Plus" in the digital key plus is supposed to allow those functions with the phone in your pocket. Has anyone been successful in getting this to work?? See link below for official info...

There has been a lot of discussion on the forum on this topic. Please search the forum.

In general, your phone needs to have UWB to use the fully hands free DK+. I’m not sure if the base model of S22 has UWB. Also, there’s been some inconsistencies in android support for DK+, it works flawlessly with my iPhone.

mojoJJ - you were absolutely right. I didn't read closely enough. I did more research after your post and the regular s22 and s23 models don't have the UWB necessary (only NFC!). Without upgrading the phone I'm stuck without the comfort access approach locking/unlocking the car! Back to the key for now!

yup, samsung only has UWB on the + and ultra models as well as the folds.
since the oneui 6.0 update, digital key plus works flawlessly on my S23U and Fold5.
