I would second that what the configurator says. Have a look at the pictures from my 7 series, which I pasted earlier in this thread. Personally I never felt or saw any difference in the quality (feel/look) of the seating surfaces vs the bolsters (ie non perforated parts). Granted, I did not actually cut out a piece of the fabric from different places to make any scientific comparisons, but if the material was not genuine on the perforated parts, then the forgery was top notch 😅

The perforated portions are Sensafin or Vernasca, even with the Merino leather option.
