03/2024.40 Update extended mileage range??

Hi All
So did update, no dramas.

But then filled my car with Petrol and got a range of 568 miles normally 420 ish.

So clearly this is mathematical bollocks, anyone else had this??

That is normal. The update wipes out the recent driving history used to calculate the range. It will return normal as you drive it.

Thanks I thought this hybrid was suddenly going become super efficient !

Yeh I had that too yesterday, made me laugh when I saw it but suspected it had been reset to max petrol and min electric!

I also found this update totally upset the NFC keys in my iPhone and watch. Seems okay now but it took a while yesterday to restore full functionality. Never do a s/w update without access to the key fob!

When I picked mine up new 2 weeks ago it said 612 (4 miles on the car) seems not possible. I do get really good mileage, average after 2 tanks is 25.2 so with 21.9 gallon tank, 550 seems possible.
