Hey LuckyBrand any issues with your 40i? I was looking forward to picking up at PCD this week but a Stop sale just got put on it - I'm the same build week as yours. Someone else just got a stop sale call today too. You didn't have to deal with a recall did you?

Nothing wrong that we can tell/feel. This is the first I've heard of a stop sale. Definitely got me interested now though. Keep us up to date on yours and maybe someone will end up posting on the main feed of the x5 forum.

I haven’t had any issues either. I also picked up around the same time.

paradocs Any info from dealership why it’s a stop sale? I’m now curious.

We went 15% ceramic tint on the front windows. The factory tint that comes on the back windows is 17% so it's only 2% darker. But with the white interior it's perfect. As it doesn't make it feel as dark. We usually go 20% but decided to go 15% this time and no regrets. If I had a black interior I might have done 20%. Hope that helps.

Did you also ceramic tint the windshield for heat reduction?

Was told there is an SIB for a front lower seat belt issue on X5/x6 built between 4/5-4/20 that is triggering the stop sale. Confirmed by someone else who had PCD canceled. I assume this will effect others with Wk 15-17 builds.

No estimate on when this will be fixed - just not by Friday when my PCD is scheduled (boo!)

That sucks! My car definitely missed it as it was in production and delivered before 4/5.
