Hi all,
For the past couple weeks, I’ve noticed this rattle noise that is mostly prominent while accelerating and turning at low speeds, mainly on 2nd gear. It tends to quiet down or disappear once I gain speed above 30 km/h or as soon as the car shift up from 2nd. It is directly connected to acceleration; if I press the gas pedal it is louder and when I let go it becomes less apparent. I can only hear it from inside the car and it is very subtle but annoying once you notice it. From what I can tell it is mostly towards the passenger side and when I tried to film, I was able to capture it much better once I moved the phone towards the rear seats. I’ve been trying to unsuccessfully pinpoint it for the past 2 weeks. I’ve attached a video, it sounds like wind noise in the video but I would better describe it as a rattle or a bearing going bad kind of noise. You can mostly notice it as I try to accelerate a couple times. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks. https://youtube.com/shorts/kqmugOHO7SI?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/Zvzj-3D_nmo?feature=share |

Update: The issue has been finally resolved in case someone encounters this kind of issue.
Apparently the driveshaft center bearing has gone bad and been replaced. |

I have maybe a similar issue. I can’t seem to identify what this noise is, only happens when I hit the gas and stops once I let off. I am on off on off the gas in the video, you can hear the intervals of the noise. Dealer doesn’t know and can’t reproduce the sound apparently.

The noise in my case was mostly inside the cabin, I didn’t notice any noise from the outside, but I could have just simply not noticed. The noise was also tied to acceleration; I would mostly hear it during slow acceleration or deceleration at low speeds.

Oh gotcha, my nose I hear it with the windows down. Just can’t seem to find the source of the noise, maybe a belt or bearing but not really sure since it happens by pressing the gas.
