Im in the Charlotte area and my dealer is in Georgia, so picking it up my X5 at the BMW PC, which is only an hour away from me was a better option for me.

Ours continue to be right by each other. I’ve been awaiting carrier assignment too. Hopefully it moves tomorrow.

I was jealous of you two and have been refreshing all day. Surprisingly my sales rep is great and emailed me it was picked up before i could see it on the web! I should be able to pickup tomorrow afternoon as long as it arrives by morning - I’m 1.5hrs away so that seems pretty likely!

For reference, my timeline was as follows:
- met sales agent March 30th; placed order on April 5th (3% off m60i); received build code April 15th; got the VIN approx April 22; the car got built the week of April 29th; shipped out May 2nd and arrived at the dealer (NYC) today. Too bad I'll be out of town so I won't be picking it up till the end of the May. But I think a month to get a build exactly the way I want seems totally reasonable.

Congrats! Mine jumped to '195 - In transit' today, but based on other posts delivery by train to California can't be this fast, so not quite sure what this status means.

It is usually 2 to 4 weeks depending on where in CA. You will be In Transit, the At the Port for the KC rail yard, then back In Transit until you hit At the Port in CA. Genius can tell you what the last stop of the train was and what the next is.

Mine updated to “at the dealership” this afternoon and also appears on their website. My sales person is coming off 2 weeks of leave tomorrow, so hopefully I get an update by the afternoon.

My 50e (ordered on Feb 28th) was on “awaiting carrier assignment for last three days. Just checked this afternoon and it was delivered to Dealer. Dealer called me to let me they got the car. Going to pick it up on Friday!

I ordered my 50e back in December 7th last year and I'm still status code 112. Genius tells me I'm pushed back to week 22. I see on this forum that a lot of people are receiving their 50e's already, many of whom ordered much later than I did. I don't get it. Is it something in the options I selected?

No, just timing likely tied to the original allocation date or many other reasons. Keep in mind when a vehicle was ordered does not really tell you anything. Many of the ones that were ordered later were actually for earlier allocations that were abandoned when production was limited. For example, someone ordering in March could have been for an allocation that was issued in October for a December build.

I had to have it in for service because it was making a whistling sound. Turns out the sunroof seal wasn’t seated properly in the corner. Dealer replaced the seal in a few hours today and it’s good to go!

Ordered March 27th, built on April 29th, arrived at the dealer (Boulder, CO) May 8th and took deliver on May 10th. She is at the shop fro ppf, ceramic and tint. More pics when she returns.
