My car is a early build 2020 HEA car and its had the following things sorted at the dealer up until this point.

AC Compressor went out on day 5 after buying the car. No fault to the car itself as BMW was having issues with V8 engine AC compressors across all model lines at the time and mine happen to be impacted. They swapped out the compressor and the AC as been good since.

Water pump/pulley seized at around 30K miles - Not sure how it happened but it started out with a strange sound coming from the front belts and progressively got louder until one day it started to seize up. Dealer changed the water pump, belts, pulley's.

Car now has 42K miles and it drives/looks like new.

I've done all the maintenance items required (and extra) to make sure this thing stays this way.

Things I recommend doing if the car has over 30K miles

spark plugs
coil packs
engine/cabin filters
front, rear diff fluid
transfer case fluid

I also did new brake rotors/pads all around at about 35K. It didn't 'need' them yet but i again i like keeping my car pristine so did them myself.

Thanks Alan. That is certainly very helpful. “Sparks…and coil…” are certainly something I’ll be looking into getting done while keeping a close eye on the others, this. Hoping there may be others with other tips I can collect here…

Mine was 2021.
At recent service two months ago at 49K dealer change rear brake pads.
Front was still OK. Rotors still fine.
Spark plugs, filter, oils was changed too.
I never did coil packs.
Everything else was done as per normal dealer service/milage.

From not normal -
had front Control Arms replaced at 30k. Rubber seal gets damaged (no idea how this happened) and after dust/salt (it was winter time) gets inside - start making metal rubbing noise.
Both side was change despite only right side shows damage and left side was perfectly fine.

Sold it back to dealer with little bit over 50K couple weeks ago.
