MY25 Week 33 Builds (Aug 12-16)

I was notified that my car is ready to be picked up! Apparently BMWNA has been clearing batches of cars and mine was not built with the "bad part". Mine was an 8/14 build that was stuck in QC for 15+ days. If yours was built around this time I would check with your CA as this apparently happened within the last 24-48 hours. Congrats!!! Mine is still stuck in QC and still shows recall in bmwusa.com/recall site. The production date is 8/14 too, but it was built on 8/13 and stay in the QC state since then

I reached out to my CA - looks like it's getting cleared as well. He was being cautious until he confirmed it. We're heading in tomorrow morning to finalize the paperwork and take it home.

No, recall is now gone from my vehicle in the bwmusa site as well as nhtsa. It was there previously.

As an aside, I think the CAs are very eager to deliver these cars -- I got asked if I could be there tomorrow 9AM. We'll see if it's busy all day as they try to work to close all the transactions they can.

Mine finally got out of QC since Aug 13 and move into Awaiting Carrier Assignment.. NTHSA still shows recall but now it shows the model and year instead of just year 9999. I will see if the recall gets cleared next week... finger crossed...

Status finally changed to 'Dispatched from factory" and recall disappeared from NTHSA and bmwusa/recall. Checked with CA and ETA to San Francisco is 9/29. CA believes the car will arrive with the problem repaired by 29th.

That is not possible as the remedy hasn't been released yet. His system will tell him if it is currently subject to the stop sale or not. It could be you were cleared by VIN.

CA sent me the screenshot and it has stop-sale sign as of this morning.. but the VIN shows no recall today on nthsa and bmwusa site. Does it mean the VIN is cleared from the recall?

No, the web site has been fairly inaccurate throughout this issue, the dealer’s system is definitive.

Just confirmed with my CA this afternoon and he confirmed it is cleared from the stop sale according to the info in their system !!!
