Y25 BMW X5 M60i Fully Loaded Special Order Cancellation

My X5 M60i has finished production and is ready to be shipped. Problem is I no longer want it. In the time it took to build, I've gotten to really like the AMG GLE 63 S. I've been test driving it for a while now from Turo. Dealer has reached out about delivery. Can I still cancel? I haven't put any deposits down whatsoever. I've only signed the build sheet, validating my options.

This might be the wrong Forum to ask this, am I making a mistake giving it up for the GLE 63 S?

If you haven't put down any deposits, then you'd have to determine if your signature is binding

Just let your dealer know and you should be fine to cancel. Verify what you signed but it is unlikely to contain a clause with a charge for cancelling.

I think the GLE is awesome. No one can tell you which car to get, at this level they are all incredible. But the 63S starts at almost 40k more than the M60, so it's tough to compare.

You're in X5M territory at that price.

can you publish the build sheet for your M60i?

Thanks for posting. Was testing myself as to whether it was tempting enough for me to dump my 50e offer and jump to the M60i. But I don't want 22" wheels and prefer a lighter gray (Skyscraper). Good luck with the MB GLE!

trapsouldriver back to your original question GLE v M60i………have you spent any time behind the wheel of a M60i? IMO the BMW is superior in most ways. Driving characteristics, suspension, technology, comfort, looks and price. Your M60i spec is perfect. And the color combo is a great choice. That said, since you have no skin in the game I see no reason you couldn’t walk. I’m sure the dealer can quickly sell the M60i if you don’t buy it.

The GLE 167 model has been riddled with issues since launch. Lot's of lemon buybacks. Maybe they've gotten better, I'd definitely visit the MBworld forum.
