2024 X5e charge flap stopped opening after just over a year of ownership. Worked day before and last used at airport using ChargePoint location. Car was plugged in for whole wknd in the elements (not sure if this is a contributing factor or just coincidence).

Troubleshooting - tried lock/unlock via keys and door handle. Tried restarting iDrive. Some older forums mention a manual release handle under the hood but the 2024 model does not seem to have one (can anyone confirm?). Tried unlocking charge door via the myBMW app by selecting “charge door always unlocked”.

Has anyone seen this before or have other troubleshooting besides having to deal with the dealership? Thanks.
