Nice!

What system did you go with? Is it all from Veleno? The dual tips?

Do you have more pictures of the system straight from behind under the car?

Also how did it fit? Especially the Y pipe?

The one I found online for now only is to 40i that's why I'm wondering.
Looks great!

I'm using oem tip. Police in China doesn't allow custom systems. The system is custom made. It's the first they have ever made for this model. Current system is a template being fitted and then the pipes will be shipped back to the factory and production will start and the template will be replaced with a full production system. 45e needs special piping as 40i has dual mid pipes but due to the batteries ours only has 1 mid pipe. Car is still at the shop as the system needed to cutting and piping done. But I hope to get it back today. Then replaced again in 2 weeks with a system that isn't cut and custom welded.
It's a dual valve system with the custom setup where GFP ( European ) is deleted.
Resale model will have a remote but mine is wired specially and valve system will be programmed into DME and will work as OEM and have full open vales as BMW programming meaning cold start and over 4000 something rpm.
Plus I'm getting ECU tune as well at the same time.
I'll get photos when the production system is installed that I can share.

Will send later. Exhaust Programming is still going on the codes for 40i doesn't work on 45e so they are still figuring it out. But will send. Cold start has only 2 second open vales and then closes. As I didn't want remote for the vales it's built into DME but we have programmed it slightly different. Instead of open valves at around 4000rpm the valves will open at 2800rpm during acceleration.

Will a change of this kind of exhaust affect the factory warranty?

Hey, I know it’s been a while, is there any chance you could show us the final product and some sound clips.

Januza,

What diameter pipes did they use for the new exhaust?

I don’t recall. It’s been a couple of years but I think at least 3”

Sounds fantastic, this might be a silly question but how do you rev the 45e? Even in neutral I can't blip the throttle.
