Any thoughts or opinions on color? Anyone see anything interesting? I want more of an aggressive/sinister look, which usually something with a satin finish seems to do the trick. Suggestions appreciated.

Anyone know what color this purple X5 is?

It's called Daytona Violet Metallic, it's a BMW Individual colour that you have to pay extra for, and I don't believe it's available for all models.

Here is a document that shows all of the Individual Paint options that are available, by model, for vehicle coming out of the Spartanburg plant. I'm not sure how often this "menu" changes (or even if the attached is still the current/active list.

Thought it might help you to see what paint could be spec'd on your order (at extra cost) - or to give you some paint names to google and investigate what different colors look like on an X5 from others who have chosen that color previously.
