X6 stuck in the 150 code

Good day to all. 2025 BMW X6's are not only hard to get deals on, but scarce in the South East, as we roll into the end of the year. Many "in transit" advertisements have VIN numbers, and seem to be "stuck" in the 150 Build code. Any idea why? is it a parts acquisition problem, or the Spartanburg factory batch them together for a build? Purchased one of those, but now like many, the waiting game begins..
PS: Good luck getting any significant discounts on this cars. Praying for better incentives from BMW in December, but not holding my breath.

Yeah, even allotments for them are scarce, and discounts even more scarce. But the hassle and expense and wait are worth it. As you know because you already own one, the X6 is something of a unicorn and absolutely terrific. You will love it. Given that you're in Florida and not too far away from the factory, give some thought to picking up the X6 in Spartanburg. They'll treat you like royalty. You get track time, a meal and a lengthy introduction to your vehicle from a BMW engineer. It's a terrific experience.

No problem whatsoever, it is just your misunderstanding of what that means. 150 is Production Begins, that does not mean that assembly has begun but rather that a VIN has been assigned and parts ordered/allocated. This usually occurs about two weeks prior to the production date.

You can use the "F12" process to get your production date.

Thank you Turtle aka. the BMW forum JODA!.
So, If code 150 is 2 week from the production date; Does that mean that the car may be delivered 4 weeks after the VIN Number and the Code 150 is assigned?.

It all depends on location, QC delays, carrier availability, etc. if all goes well delivery to Florida would be a couple days after being assembled. If it was California it may take another two to four weeks.

Did follow all instructions and called the genius line. Completion date is scheduled for December 4 so, hopefully can have the car a few days after, down here in FL.
Mr Turtle, you should change your name to: THE BIBLE of the Bimmerpost forums sir!
