Not sure. It had been in their workshop for a while waiting on the tracker parts, so could have been knocked whilst in there.

Genius in the UK has told me that the estimated due date for mine to be delivered to the dealer is 23rd of Dec

No, was told an update coming next week. My delivery is week 51, in theory it should be on that ship to make that date, the next ship arriving December 3rd, doubt that can make it in time.

Will check again today, I feel I have been a pest asking the sales guy for updates, he is used to this from my last order in May

Conlans in Limerick is who I ordered through.

I got onto BMW UK's genius chat to get an update and they gave me week 52 as the estimated delivery date so I wonder are both of ours on the same ship.

Hopefully they do the prep work over the xmas period to have both our cars ready first week of Jan

Yeah I just chanced Genius UK to not be pestering the dealer as I'd been onto him a bit about some other things and didn't want to add more to the list.

I'm the same - was hoping for first Saturday in January Need to get onto dealer next week to figure out when he wants me to pay considering the xmas holidays in the banks.

That 251 plate is going to be so sweet to see on it when you go collect it

Either mine is near yours in the shipyard/ boat or else it has just arrived in Bremerhaven on Fidelio that docked on Monday. Hopefully if that is the case that it just landed it won't be too long turn around to get it on the next boat to Zeebrugge.

He didn't know much more about the VIN beginning with WBA either other then maybe the parts come from Germany.
Seems that the USA has a lot more information availability when it comes to tracking.
Shame though as from my study window on a good day, I can see the container ships sail past on the Solent on their way to Southampton Docks. Would have been nice to say, oh look, there goes my car!! Lol.

Just to clarify; although, X5s are all built in the US, US market cars have VINs beginning with 4US while the ROW vehicles have VINs beginning with WBA. BMW got in trouble with the US NHTSA back in the early 2000s because they were selling US spec cars with a WBA manufacturer identifier. The 11 digit is the most important digit as this digit denotes with assembly plant where the car was produced.
