I’m diving into some DIY maintenance on my 2020 BMW X5 xDrive40i, and here’s why: my local BMW dealer wanted to charge me $1,800 for an oil change, engine air filter, spark plugs, and cabin air filter. After doing some research, I realized that the cost of all the parts—including the tools—is just a fraction of that amount. So, I decided to take on the challenge myself and learn something new along the way!

I’d really appreciate your help with the following:

1. **Torque Specs:**
Could anyone provide the correct torque specs (in Newton meters) for the following?
- Oil filter housing
- Oil drain plug
- Spark plugs
- Engine air filter housing

2. **Oil Recommendations:**
FCP Euro and BMW recommend 0W20 from Liqui Moly or BMW-branded oil, but I’ve seen others suggest that 0W30 might be a better option for this car. I live in North America in a cold climate state, so I’d love to hear your input on which oil would be best for my car and why.

3. **DIY Resources:**
If you know of a good resource (even a paid one) that provides detailed DIY maintenance instructions and torque specs for BMWs, please share. I’m looking for something straightforward and beginner-friendly.
