Hi All,

I recently bought a Brooklyn Grey '24 xDrive40i optioned with "33B" M Sport Package Pro, and admittedly, the exhaust isn't loud at all, even when cold starting in Sport Plus mode.

I've read there's an M Performance Exhaust "MPE" that's a dealer installed option. Is this the same exhause that's on my X5 now or a different exhaust altogether?

It's different. The exhaust in the sport package is not loud at all, I also wish it had more growl. I just can't justify $3k for more sound.

Some people cut the resonator out, which increases noise, allegedly without drone.

Probably like me you got the M Sport Exhaust wich is the same as regular 40i exhaust but with a sportier resonator. M Perf Exhaust is a different animal, much better sound
