23 front 24 rear seeking advice for fitment

Hello. As i live in Europe continental sportcontact7 will launch for this summer 315/30/23 and 345/25/24 tires and i am thinking of ordering custom wheels 23x11 et 16-18 and 24X12.5 et 32-34 rear.I am concerned about rear fitment.Do you think it will rub? Also will it poke too much with the 345 tires?I know that up to 22-25mm more is ok for the rear but with 345 i am not sure. What do you think?

I think it's a stupid idea as 23" is pushing it as is. Just don't. You're welcome.

Edit: On the front tire size. When you turn the vehicles front tires, they angle just a bit for turning. A massive front tire will absolutely be terrible for this and I'm not sure how that would impact the suspension over time. This is a performance vehicle and putting massive wheels and tires at these specs/weight will hinder performance in every way.

They won’t work. First you’re going outside of the OEM perimeter way too much. It will impact your suspension, performance, handling, Speedo reading, tire wear etc. but what doesn’t make it work is the offsets of the rims, they are too high for the width. Don’t know the design of the rims, they might not even clear your brake calipers. The biggest wheels I’ve seen people put on the x5 is 23”, 315mm wide tire, rim offset 0 to -4. Most people modify their cars to further improve performance, this is just doing the complete opposite.

no question it is not best idea performance wise.I am curently running 295/35/22 10.5 et16 front 11 et22 rear.it is an oversize, but my wheels and tires are lighter than stock about 30-35lb in total.i am lowered 1 inch front and 0.8 inch rear and the car feels better than stock regarding comfort and accelaration.handling feels the same.315 front tire i agree it is a lot but it has be done many times by manhart and others. And it can have bad impact, but it shouldn't be quite dramatic.Regarding the oversize guys running 275/40/22 315/35/22 have the same overall diamter.also there is decent number of x5/x6 with 335 tires so 345 shouldnt be a problem. My 23/24 wheel combo will weight not more than the stock 818m wheels.i saw one member running 12 inch rear on 335 tires et38 so if i go 12.5 et 32 should be fine for the inside.for the outside the rim will poke 24mm more than stock which is ok although i am little concerned if it wont poke too much with 345 tire.it is an a little extreme but i may try it.If not i will go 305/30/23 325/30 23 assymetric 6.

Higher the offset pushes the wheels inwards against the hub. Your rim offsets are pretty high for the width and sidewall of tires you’d want to run. The concern of poking out isn’t as critical as rubbing the fenders. You can try the last square setup mentioned, but it’s best to check with your wheel supplier and have them recommend the best option or verify if your desired setup would work.

False, the 818 wheels are forged. So going from forged 21/22 to 23/24 with a taller/wider tire will absolutely weigh more.

I'm talking about the tire width, not the diameter on the front. You need to educate yourself on how suspensions work.

As X5MnM3comp said above, speak with a wheel retailer and they'll tell you the size and ET that's recommended.

My rsq8 forged wheels 23x11 et10 weight 31lb each.rear 24 will be around 35lb.So rims can be lighter than stock.the tires will be heavier, but overall tire+rim combo will be very close to the stock weight.I will definitely speak to an expert if i decide to go 23/24.Probably at the end will go with 23 all around.
