Color change

Thinking about the colored PPF. I have to see it more to make a judgement call. It comes in a WILD array of colors these days. Less OrangePeel than Vinyl. I think it may lack -depth- . My 1st thought was something along BRG but I think the color way is more suited for smaller cars . I don't want to do a wild color.....just something different. I could never pull it off but I once saw a Imola Red F95 on the road. It looked fantastic. Off to the deep hunt to gather more info on this.

It's interesting. I literally had like a deck of cards 50+ colored PPF but I didn't really look at the samples. But it's on my mind...

The safe route is going with a matte finish because color ppf is pretty flat compared to vinyl colors.

The ones I've seen has metallic in it.....not sure if it's metallic flakes or just lookalike . Not just mono color. But I did not look at it closely.....wasn't even on my radar to even consider it. Just over the last 48 hrs have I been thinking about swinging back to the shop to get a closer look at the swatches

I like seeing frozen on others peoples cars but Gloss does it for me.....

If you like gloss and care about the depth of color, maybe just go with vinyl wrap. Much cheaper. You can change it to something else after a few years if you’d like.

Nay. Vinyl has no depth and while it looks fine from a distance, that's all it is for me.

I do think the G05 would look great in Chalk tho
