Any idea if BMW is going to make a offroad SUV Land Rover killer?
I thought I read that BMW was doing some designs for a more offroad bad a*s SUV. Has anyone heard anything? I am not sure if this is the right niche for the BMW brand but it might be interesting.

Can't see much need here in Aus which isn't saying much. Its along flat bed ride from where most 4x4s go if worst happens. Mechanics can't fix what's around now in the simpler marcs let a alone a BMW or G wagan. Nor supply a 20"+ wheel outside the city.
Then to fill it with sand at the beach, or desert, perhaps ants and fire wood debris won't fly too well also. But to drop the kids off at school in the 200K 4x4 looks cool, so the affluent will buy to show their commitment to outdoor adventure and the world keeps spinning. The only g wagons around hear are AMGs, no one buys a bog stock as they are far too expansive for what they are. |
