Arrogant? Never... I'm proud of you too. Well done.

To our American mate, we do things a little differently here .

Good on yer mate! I'd have no hesitation dobbing in a tosser like that. Sadly DD and it's consequences are becoming too common.

That, sadly, truly is the case. I was driving by the booze bus last night and their was a train of abandoned cars next to it. Really makes you think how many more are wondering about endangering everyone's lives.

Once again, great job Tay.

As for the American dude, I'm trying to figure out what in God's name he's trying to say. No wonder their credit rating just got downgraded!

As they stand at the moment S&P have said they'll never payback their debt. Wars aren't cheap after all.

Sorry to butt in, it sounded like the New Yorker was being a smart ass to me. What comes around goes around kind of thing. Since Tay reported the drunk, he hopes if Tay gets pissed, the cops will come after him. I have a few mates living here in the states, if that makes any difference.

Nice Job!
Why is everyone getting political? Politics and religion are two things that don't belong on a automotive forum. Lets keep it clean. Just my 2 cents.

Settle petal. You septics need to understand Aussie humour if you're going to lurk around our fora. Having a dig is part of the culture.
And besides, cars is a religion and car power realpolitik.

That's how I read it, too.

Probably meant no harm, but the wording seemed like he was saying that the next time I drive drunk etc... I.e. Assuming I drive drunk.

All's good. Just glad the guy was caught without hurting anyone including himself.

Just saw this.

My brother obviously lives in Canberra, and he said theres an agreement between ACT cops (AFP) and NSW police that each jurisdiction has the ability to cross the border, also in police chases. Revenue is kept by the force applicable where the offender was pursued.

He said last year 5 people were killed including a young family and their baby when a drink driver initiated a high speed chase and t-boned the family after running a red.

Drink drive and you're a fucking tool, in my mind.
