That, sadly, truly is the case. I was driving by the booze bus last night and their was a train of abandoned cars next to it. Really makes you think how many more are wondering about endangering everyone's lives.

As for the American dude, I'm trying to figure out what in God's name he's trying to say. No wonder their credit rating just got downgraded!

That's how I read it, too.

Probably meant no harm, but the wording seemed like he was saying that the next time I drive drunk etc... I.e. Assuming I drive drunk.

All's good. Just glad the guy was caught without hurting anyone including himself.
