BMW breaks their production calendar year into build weeks, so the first week to include a date in January is week 1. The build week is the week the vehicle is scheduled to complete production and inspection. Week 22 is the last full week of May (if I’m counting right).

I would say it is not valid. First of all it looks like Week 22 (which is MY22) doesn't have the delete code and secondly it is very doubtful that BMWNA has given dealers information on the MY23s yet.

I was now informed that this code will take affect in either Q3 or Q4. Any build taking place around that time and moving forward will receive manual tailgates. This is the new rumor.

there's one dealer video floating around. it showed him pushing the button to unlock the lower tailgate then he manually lowered it. i believe if the vehicle has air suspension (45e), there's a second button to engage Load level

Hi all! Still new here. I spoke with someone on the genius team on May 10, 2022 and she said code (032W) isn't on my build. I asked if there were any other deletions and she said no, just the touch dial that's still missing, which is something I coudn't care less about. Build week is also 22; X5 45e M Sport. Hopefully, it all still stands. By the way, I'm also dealing with a dealership that doesn't know how to communicate with their clients. So any extra suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have a quick question, I tried using the F12 with Chrome and also the other way with Safari, and more than likely it's user error, but does it only work if you have a VIN or does it not matter? Because I can't seem to figure out the details once I'm in the screen and go to the appropriate subsections. |

I spoke with a genius this morning and discovered my 45e build week is 23 (June 6-12), and they did not see any deletions or substitutions (e.g. tailgate). Hope this stands.

You can do it before you get a VIN but the production date won’t be filled in until you do. There are a few threads that have the detailed instructions abs I will try a remember to post them when I get home tonight. |

It's one button to open the tailgate. I saw it last weekend. Clicking on it unlatchesnit which opens the tailgate just a bit. Pulling it down isn't an issue. I found it a bit odd to put it back up because of the contours of the tailgate. There wasn't a grab bar or anything like that to help pull it up and as I started pushing it up my hand slid, so i needed to readjust. I didn't like it personally but it is what it is. There could be better ways of doing it but I didn't try.

https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...4&postcount=51 You can check the status with production number (status 111 - order received and 112- scheduled for production), when status changes to 150 - production begins - your car VIN is assigned and prod date is filled in when you do the f12 trick as shown in above link Last edited by hb45e; 05-12-2022 at 01:27 PM.. |

The site in general seems to work only intermittently using Safari. Often times I get a blank screen and when I go try to access it with Chrome it works. So, if anyone has Chrome instructions for how to access my build feature codes I'd love to see it! Last edited by PittsDriver; 05-12-2022 at 07:38 AM.. |
