FYI.. For those that this may pertain to, and experience issues with DAP, I understand that a software patch is now available to address an issue, including during our production week. Supposedly it effects BMW Assist too.

On Stop sale thread some have reported the software fix was released yesterday it appears. My X5 has been sitting at the Vehicle Center since Monday and was just released to transport today to my Dealer in NJ per BMW Genius. So perhaps deliveries are moving again?!

Stop sales have no effect on whether vehicles are shipped from the factory or not. They are all shipped and the dealer handles the stop sale fix/update. There has been no stop in deliveries, they have been on-going.

How do you see the status codes?

I only see the dots on a bar below the car image. It does show the description of each step though but no numbers.

Status codes do not show on the screen, just the description. Here is a link to a list of order codes.

She's mine! Had a great 200 mile drive home incl. a 105 mile stretch that was completely hands free using Assist Plus. Very intuitive and always held the center of the lane. Pleased with the Skyscraper/Ivory combo. I'm diggin' iDrive 8.5. Love it so far. Also was happy to see P Zeros instead of the Contis I've seen on most builds.

No fancy pictures but she’s home!

Front windows have been tinted with ceramic and matched - that’s it for today.

Next:
- IND black emblems have already been ordered and will be here in a few days.
- Wheels are getting powder coated black on the 30th.
- Black Roof racks going on momentarily.

I’ve read almost every thread here and ordered 3 G05’s. Obviously, I hate to hear about our owners having problems from noises, to technical glitches. After about 30 miles, I can say a few things:

Noise- I have 20” 740M wheels on the Bridgestone Alenza run flats and it is dead quiet at 10mph and 90mph. No strange noises, smooth and quiet. Just like my last two.

Idrive 8.5 - No weird iDrive 8.5 issues - maps, CarPlay, etc. Everything works just as intended, Spotify loaded right up. Alexa works as well.

IAS is a game changer- the feel around the corners, the tracking the minute you even think to turn the wheel, it’s night and day, and very happy to have it.

It’s also very clear about the engine reduced power mode as it tells you every time it starts up for the next 310 miles, and I am perfectly fine with that! Glad they do this!

I will post more pictures once all the black emblems and black wheels are done
