Yes. Also, OEM is very easy to install and take off (compared to Thule)

The mount points on the LCI (assume same for all G05s) is way too close to each other. less than 27" (680mm) between the insides of each bar.
Snowboards need as much as 5" (12mm) more. And it looks to narrow to support the trailing end of a cargo box as well. I assume there is no harm in moving the rear cross bar towards the back. Can anyone confirm or deny that? |

Totally agree. I have a large size BMW roof box, the 520 model. If I use OEM mounting points, it just doesn't look correct. Front and rear overhang are longer than the distance between the bars. I have since move the rear bar rearward by about 5-6" or so. Rear is about above C-pilar. I can measure tonight for exact number I think moving to it around is ok. We are not putting thousands of lb up there. And the tool rail is supposed to support the static weight of the car.
