Completly understand the hesitation after a first bad experience, but the data shows that Pure kits are the most proven and reliable kits on the market. the odds of a failure happening to you again are very slim.

BM3 gone. EcuTek flashed. Bend Cal working on base map. Last random bits inbound from FCP ahead of a date with the mechanic next week.
On track for some initial impressions of the Pure500 middle of this month with dyno session to follow. |

Currently stock on e30 . Going to see how the p500 does with it. I'm not looking for anything crazy, no plan for any aftermarket hpfp if e30 suffice my needs. I do have a tu pump but I'm debating about installing it. I've read that it can possibility grenade the engine, so I'm a bit hesitant. Not sure if it was improper install of pump or what buti def don't want to chance it. Heard non tu pump is fine, which I might do that instead if anything.

i get it..Honestly think a pure500 and stage 2hpfp or similar would be a great, no fuss combo. Typically the stock hpfp gives out arouns 425/435wheel. Think I seen the tu can get close to 470(?)….Dorche told me these cars should have came with something equivalent to their stage1 from factory…Personally the ds2 or spool would be my goto if doing the pure500..

Bolt ons have mostly been bolted. With luck, we’ll wake the car back up and deliver the first datalog to start the tuning process tomorrow. It’s going to be tight getting it on the dyno by the next track outing 5/11 but I’m going to make a go of it.

After some delays, the car started with the Pure500 yesterday. The Bend flex kit and HPFP are going in right now. Progress. Slow progress, but I’ll take it.
Bend Cal support has been exceptional. |

It’s alive! EcuTek is seeing ethanol content. Car idles great on the base map. It’s on Shell 93 and we’ll work our way up in power and ethanol over the next few weeks.
Working to have it on track 5/11. Might not have it on the dyno before then. If not before, definitely in May. |
