Great deal. That should make a nicely optioned M50i in the $104K-ish and a totally loaded one for $110k. That should give a good blue print on where the X5M and X5M Competition is headed. You are going to pay a lot more for just a few tenths of a second quicker 0-60mph. This might make the X3Mc the best buy if you are going after a track SUV.

I think its roughly equal making it an even better deal. The M50i has the M sport brakes, M differential, wifi hotspot, and wireless charging standard. M Sport brakes are optional on the 50i, the M differential is part of the dynamic handling package, and the wifi hotspot/wireless charging are part of the premium package. I don't know how much those would cost individually or if the M50i would actually have the premium package as standard. If the premium package were standard then there would be a $600 price difference that could be accounted for by the M differential. Either way I'm having a bit of buyers remorse now. Dealers unwilling to go close to 11% off MSRP on the M50i would help my buyers remorse

But with BMW, you have the choice not to pay that fee.. you only have to... keep driving your existing vehicle. |

Yes, you're right, but in RF that fee is already included in the price and you don't need to pay any extras for the delivery. I though it works the same way everywhere.

With a completely stock other than a 93 octane tune my F15 2014 X5 is already in the low 3's. These N63TU motors have lots of untapped potential. Great sleeper and assaults about anything on the road.

this is not cool by BMW at all. Both cars were brand new models for 2019, those that opted for the expensive V8 version get screwed big time.
at least for the m550i it was out for 2 years before bmw did this.. |

Not to rag on Porsches, which I love, but I wonder how anyone would justify spending $40k more for a Cayenne Turbo with similar power and performance. BMW has done something really amazing here to offer a 500+HP SUV with German design/engineering and some degree of real sporting credentials for just north of $80k.

It was to be expected. If you couldn't see this coming, you must be legally blind.

4.1s? that's a joke my X5 50i does that, well all know it'll be around 3.8s or faster.

This setup provides a 0 to 62 miles per hour (0-100 kilometers per hour) acceleration of 4.1 seconds for the X5 and 4.5 seconds for the X7.
so it will be in the high 3s.... |
