Super helpful, as always. Far more clear than the pop up descriptions in ID8.

Speaking of popups — that is one more annoyance of this system. At certain times when the system disengages for some reason, an error message overtakes the entirely of the ID8 screen. The messages are often lengthy — and certainly dangerous to read at highway speeds. And you need to scroll to the bottom to dismiss them. I think that’s a really poor design decision from a safety perspective. Hopefully 8.5 can clean some of that up.

Be aware to not change destination while on HA. The car may suddenly change lanes or try to take an exit depending on what features you have turned on. Surprise!!!

Mine doesn’t do this. I recall there is a setting for length of notifications.

but even at lowest level it is still louder than it needs to be.

Does anyone know if there are some upgrades for driver assistance pro for european vehicles? Furthermore is there a guide on how to use it? Once I get the car will test myself usually without instructions. Maybe best to avoid it this time around. Thanks!

The M60i is the fifth car on which I’ve had some form of driving assistant including Adaptive CC. It keeps getting better and better. Hwy assist is fantastic compared to my previous four vehicles. I’ll never have another car without it.
