My SA received the email, then I told him the date stank because of airline prices and I wanted a Friday so I could drive home at weekend. They confirmed the date with him via email. I received official notification with the tax letter, an overview and travel questionnaire. I completed the travel questionnaire with flight info etc and received the indemnification link to sign my life away! It was very well organized.

Right now I'm sitting in quality check. Guess waiting on parts. Hopefully happens soon so PCD happens.

We've got exact same color for interior/exterior, but 40i xLine vs. 45e M-Sport. I'm (im)patiently waiting, but mine only went in July 26.

I called BMW Genius last week and they told me that the car is scheduled to go into production on Aug 7.
I called them again on Monday and was told that the Production date is Aug 5.
Today, Aug 4, I see that the car is Entering the Assembly line.

I'm not sure though by when can I get the delivery? I'm planning on going on a short road trip (450 miles) on Aug 14. Do you guys think I can get the car before then?

It's going to go fast now. I entered assembly Monday morning. Yesterday morning status changed to quality check and this morning changed to awaiting carrier assignment.

That being said, it's possible but I wouldn't count on it being there before next weekend.

Appreciate the feedback! The plan was to have a short road trip so that I can pass the 1200 mile barrier for Engine break in… I‘lol probably have to wait longer

Just spoke to my CA, and he told me that Genius informed him that the bmw is scheduled to be at the dealership by Aug 9!
