I believe they do updates in Mar, Jul, and Nov so hope the Nov release solves this glitch. It’s rather annoying tbh. It is very random when it happens. Today I didn’t change drive modes and it just kept going blank but yesterday I changed drive modes and no issues. Has a mind of its own.

What options are you talking about? The current layout? Note, some layouts are only available in certain drive modes.

As i've said before, you will loose your current layout in the instrument cluster and HUD when the headunit reboots. They then wont be available until the headunit properly restarts. You will need to re-select your preferred layout though.

Referring to like the map and driving assistant HUD options. The system will reach an error and no options are available in the cluster or HUD. There is a software glitch. Drive modes are not related as you can have the map in the cluster and such regardless. So the center of the cluster options vanish randomly and are not available to select again until the system can power off and ram reset.

No one here is referring to the gauges on the sides of the cluster but the options in the center and HUD will randomly vanish in 8.5 and won’t be able to even be reselected until a full power off reboot of the entire system. It is random and drive mode selections does not matter I have found out.

I’ve got my car back on Friday and it seems the new software update fixed the issue.

My 2024 x5 just stopped displaying map and any content yesterday after switching to sport and back to comfort. Briefly this morning it displayed map, but then disappeared again. When I cycle through the different content that can be displayed on the dash (instrument cluster?) and select various things, none of them work. It just displays speed and power. Any fixes?

I had similar issue with my M60i. You need to take it to dealership for a software update.
The new software release fixed the bug for me

My 2024 X5 Plugin Hybrid always displayed a camera view in the center instrument cluster when approaching an intersection showing turn arrows.

Suddenly, this view disappeared and cannot figure out on how to restore! Does anyone know where feature is described in the X5 manual?
