The green is a beautiful color - congrats.
Yea - half the reason for a V8 is the rumble…sounds non-existent now from the posts here. In my ‘22 40, I had the MPerformance exhaust installed after about a year - and am loving it. Not sure if that will mean anything to any of the MY24’s, but a thought… |

Is this your car? (€dit: Just realized that the brake calipers don't match. So there's 3 BRG 2024 X5 already?! There's another video of a BRG one too.)
By the way when did you order? Didn't know that even customer cars with individual colors were out already. |

I actually did not order it. Came across it while looking and it was set up exactly as I wanted (except would have upgraded the rims) and the wife loved the color so we went with it! |

BRG was one of three greens that it came down to when we ordered that we looked at at the BMW Welt in Munich: British Racing Green Oxford Green Malachite Green We ended up going with Malachite Green. I just love the golden shimmer it has in the sun but feel like you can't go wrong with any of those. There's actually someone from Belgium if I remember correct on here that ordered his 2024 X5 50e in Oxford Green and another guy from Torronto with an M60i in BRG as well so there's all 3 of them. Weirdly enough the only "real" individual colors on the 2024 X5 I've heard from so far are those 3 greens and no other colors. Seems green is becoming popular? And it also seems like BRG was the first and only individual color production run for the 2024 X5 so far?! |

I agree all three of the greens would look great on this car. Garage looks fun next to the YMB M3. I hope colorful cars become more popular again, especially for nicer cars. It's nice to break up the sea of black, white, and greys. I was initially thinking about going Nardo Grey (actually came across one available at a dealership in Illinois - so there's at least one other color so far: See LINK to BMW of Bloomington) but definitely think the green is way more unique and "worthy" of the extra cost. I've been surprised by how much attention it's gotten so far. As only the biggest BMW enthusiasts are likely to pick up the LCI immediately, I have to assume it's the color. So far, I say it's worth the price! I actually reached out to "BMW Individual" via email to see if they can provide any info on the number of X5s in BRG so far. Not sure if they'll be able to or willing to provide the info, but it would be interesting to know. Will report back once they respond. |

Don't know the reason but only available using the UK individual website. Strange knowing that I've ordered mine in Luxembourg...

Why could we not order with sound from exhaust, or silent like they will be? I want a V8 sound and have to buy a new exhaust every single time I buy a car. So annoying. The Jaguar F-Face SVR that I drove is exactly that sound. |

Any update from those who finished break in period? Did they notice difference?
I see one comment above that it became better, but what about others? |

Initial throttle response is a little different (quicker), but I don't think it's any faster. And it shouldn't be -- the engine output specs are pretty much identical to the prior engine. At least on the M60i, pricing is not much higher than in previous years. The MSRP of my fully loaded model is <5% higher than my 2020 M50i. It's as apples/apples as I could get, but there is some content deletion/unavailability. Even adjusting for that, I'd say it's less than 10% higher -- 4 model years later...so way less than inflation. The bigger issue is less discounts/incentives and worse lease terms, so what you actually pay is likely more than 10% higher. Regarding engine sound, I haven't noticed any change past the break-in period. |
