Do dealers learn about allocations at the beginning of each month, or is it a rolling process? I left a deposit last month on a 50e order, but the dealer still doesn't have a production slot available, but states that they hope to have some in the next few weeks.

Is there still a chance I'll get a production number in June?

There is no specific date but they are generally issued the last week of the month or first of the next. There is a chance to get one in June which will be for August production.

Placed an order for 2024 BMW X5 xDrive40i 3 weeks ago, and have been stuck in "Awaiting Carrier Assignment" for the last few days. Anybody know when i can be expected the car delivered? I'm on the East Coast.

They are having a tough time getting carriers so it is anybody's guess. In normal times you would have usually had it two days after leaving QC.

From what I’ve heard there’s a truckers storage. However once it’s on the truck it would arrive at the dealership in 1-3 days depending on how many stops the truck makes.
