Likely nothing wrong with the vehicle and you just weren't used to the IAS at speed.

Another item to check: turn off DSC completely as it will disable all the drivers aids like lane keep assist etc. That way you can at least remove any of those things interfering when testing.

Where on earth were you able to drive 150 MPH on American roads WITH other people?

Honestly I doubt any SUV handles great at that speed just bc of the aero issues. That said maybe try upgrading to an X6M? There’s a staggering difference in handling and steering - although you will assuredly sacrifice a little comfort.

The M60s are sweet but the handling is definitely geared towards comfort, regardless of suspension option.

Quietly frankly, your a dumb ass. Barn full of vintage 911’s and others that would whoop your Mr. Hulks ass. Unless you’ve purchased track time at Road America or COTA, you are a danger to the rest of us, including the public. If you don’t have a veteran mechanic that understands what your asking, you should stick with pedal cars. Suggest Garton Toy Company’s Kidallac.

I'm not that well versed in 150 mph speeds but I watch NASCAR and have stayed at Holiday Inn Express several times. DHP is a phenomenal suspension that I've had on 3 BMWs but I don't think it figures that much into preventing high speed lane control issue you describe. How close were you to the car in front and behind? AT those speeds a vehicle not specifically configured to handle all the dirty air can lose a lot of effect of what aerodynamics it came with. I was driving at stupid speed in a 2007 550i (with DHP) traveling with no stability issues from dips in road and a friend passed me and got back in front with at least 100 feet, likely more, and my car got scary for a moment. If the guy in front slowed for curve and you closed on him I can see the dirty air having even worse effects on an X6.

So when in at 150 mph taking a sligh right shift with the highway, i feel like the car is not 1000% grounded on the street, feels like 90% street and 10% on a cloud (more like air suspension) but i just have regular Adaptive M suspension.

Each car had atleast 10 car lengths in between.

And i also felt when i let go of the gas pedal, the air makes the car feel wavy, but when i keep my foot on the pedal and keep accelerating or holding speed, everything feels fine as if im driving 70 MPH.
It wasnt scary at all, i know how to drive and control situations. Im like a solid 8/10 driver. I just had to ask here to see if i can make the car better, like i didnt even feel 1% not confident in the car being at 150Mph, it was very smooth, it just that small wavy feel that i felt while driving.

Second if you dont have any helpful comments, then you dont have to be here.
Respect is earned. Talking about driving at 150 mph and serving doesn't earn you respect. A car cruise of multiple people going 150 is no safer than one reckless moron if it isn't on a closed access road. It's just a group of reckless morons.

And apparently, at least one who doesn't understand how to drive.

Far from it. I'm a guy who has actual racing training and experience, and now has kids that I don't want some fool with more money than sense causing harm to.

Like I said before, I suggest you go get yourself some actual training on how to drive before you get yourself, or worse yet someone else, killed.

Its fine, X6 M60i green looks sick too and is very quick(best 0-60 in 3.4s) top speed is 177Mph and still a V8. Just wont have that full sporty handling feel. Ill just wait to get the Urus when i turn 30.

IOMG 2025 X6M, ordered in March, got allocation in April, got the car in May, didn't take 8 months.

This is after IOMG X6M60i was totalled (rear ended when at red light by somebody who was also going way over the speed limit on a public street).

M60i was a great car but not for 150mph on a public road.

"Top speed is 177Mph" - then take it to a racetrack.

The X6 M60i handles 150 mph easily on the autobahn. In fact, it's more stable at high speeds on the autobahn than the M2 CS I had.

I'd love one day to drive on autobahn.
But this is about US roads and US drivers (where people pass on the right while on the phone and enjoying coffee). Very different to drive at that speed in US. And very dangerous.

For about 5 minutes (maybe less)i reached approx 145 mph on the German autobahn. I have an M50D Msport suspensions on stock 315/35 Continentals. I would not do it again! At those speeds it’s unstable because your basically pushing a massive brick through a wall (wearing Ugg Boots). Any side wind will also make it very unstable. A fast stable “cruising” speed on the german autobahn is around 110mph. Anything above that it’s Dumbo. If you are looking for fast speeds you need to join track days and buy yourself a very different car.

The guy is an idiot. Comes across more like a teenager. Don't worry he's getting a Urus when he turns 30. Now his 150 will be "safer" with police escort. He has it all planned out. He's clearly a kid that has "baller" aspirations.

This feels like clickbait!

1. Not good on public streets but I will leave the other posts on this thread to address those issues.

2. I have experience on road tracks with both sports cars and motorcycles. Current cars include a 2025 x5m competition and a 2022 Shelby GT500 carbon Track Pack car.

3. Most Vehicles will experience some lift as speed increases. A few cars have actual downforce but I doubt that the X6 is one of them. When Lift occurs the car feels light and less connected to the road.

4. At speed when you are on the gas and then abruptly lift off the gas you change the weighting of the car and effectively unweight the rear wheels which can make the handling feel light.

If this threat is even real, then suggest you go to your local track with a club have some instruction and learn the feel of things.
