My x50e is on the assembly line now - several weeks ago I went through this. They are not being discounted. The price is the price unless you have military or some other incentive. At least that has been my experience. |

Any recommendations for NorCal dealers? Roseville BMW and Niello Sacramento both selling at MSRP while telling me my trade value is very low due to market. So market has realigned for trades but not for new cars according to them, lol. And neither Concord nor Mountain View have given me numbers.

Ordered my X5 M60i on Aug 25th. Got the production number the following day as it was late in the evening when I went to the dealer to place the order. Dealer having allocation was key to me in addition to the discount. Production begins/VIN received on Sept 7th. Car was completed Sept 20th. Dealer received it on a Saturday (Sept 23th). Picked it up the following Monday Sept 25th.
Somewhat crappy experience picking up the vehicle as there was an argument over agreed upon interest rate of 4.9%. Dealer kept pushing 5.9%. Agreed to it with a slightly higher discount. Ended up getting a higher total discount at 8.4% (discount plus incentive) and decided to put an additional 15k to 'offset' the difference in interest plus the trade in. Sticker price was 100,745.00. Price for vehicle was 93,998.15 minus the incentive 1,500.00 bringing down the total to 92,498.15. Got to use my X3 m40i for four weeks and the dealer honored the value set at the time of placing the order in August. They gave me the best deal for the trade in out of 3 dealers I went to around Chicagoland. The trade in tax credit made it better than selling it to Carmax or similar by about 1,800 USD. They did deduct 300 USD for missing a key which they claimed they needed to certify my X3. They also forgot to return my old plates which apparently were destroyed after I left even though I asked to keep them. I was too exhausted to check if they were placed in the trunk of the new vehicle which has been common practice. I called them the following morning but it was too late. All in all very happy with the new ride. |

Got some feelers out in the mid atlantic US for a 40i order.
So far I'm seeing: 2 dealers offer MSRP no negotiating 1 dealer at 3% off MSRP 1 dealer at 4% off MSRP |

Not in the tri-state area. Ended up purchasing out of state - roughly 6.5% + $1,500 loyalty on the 50e. Try calling a few dealerships in the Southeast - not all in the same area or district will offer a discount. Feels like it depended on the salesperson and the dealership (if they like working with out of state buyers and can register vehicles out of state).

Signed a deal for a custom X5 50e in Texas last week. Got 5.7% off MSRP and $1500 corporate credit. Went to the LH and the best I was offered for a custom build was 5% from the brokers. Could've gotten better deal, maybe, but didn't want to go through the pain of negotiating with multiple dealers for a couple of hundred dollars more in discount and waste my time. First dealer offered 4.7% and asked the second dealer to just beat it and I am signing the deal right away. I didn't think anyone would be able to do better than the brokers, and that kind of set the benchmark for me, so anyone giving me close to 6% would have had me take the plunge there and then. Also, that's what people seem to be getting in Texas for custom built, so happy to land a decent deal. Could've waited for the year end for a better offer, but again, didn't think was worth for saving a couple hundred. All in all, excited and can't wait for it to be here.
Have been driving an Audi for the last 10 years and I am a fan of the smoothness and power. Liked the feel of X5 during test drive. Let's see how much edge BMW has over a VW. Last edited by texrex5; 10-15-2023 at 05:56 PM.. |

Has anyone had luck in Pacific Northwest with 2024 X3 M40i discounts? My dealers are acting like they possess alien technology in their cars and asking a fortune.

Welcome to the forum. You may want to try asking in the X3 forum. Keep in mind that historically the PNW area offers the lowest discounts of any region in the nation. In good times 3% or so is a good discount in that area.

I'm in PNW but usually get the car from OR or CA. I have two dealers in Portland I usually work with. Curious to know if they are the same pulling the shit on you. PM me and I can hook you up with them. |

Wow, great insight. I get that sense. I will say, our Audi dealers for an SQ5 are willing to do some serious deals (10K off MSRP). BMW is stingy!

No, Corporate is not stackable with any other incentive.
