First, you cannot order both the 2VR, 2-axle air suspension and the 2VW, Adaptive M Suspension Professional. I guess this is obvious to those of you that follow these options closely. I would have thought there would have been some indication such as "2VR cannot be ordered with 2VW" but there is no such language. There are several detailed threads on this. It was a tough decision for me but I went with 2VW.

Second, the 1SM 22" M V-spoke style 747 wheels are described in the Pricing Guide as "Jet Black" (at 59 years old I guess I am just an old man but I don't like all of these blacked out wheels, I much prefer wheels without any black) but on my preliminary build the 1SM style 747 wheels are described as "Cerium Gray" wheels. So, I am very happy with the Cerium Gray over the Jet Black but I fear my preliminary build just has a glitch in it and once my X5 arrives it will be the Jet Black style. Anyone have further information on whether these wheels are Cerium Gray or Jet Black?

Third, the Pricing Guide for the ZPX Executive Package for the M60i says it does not include 6U8, Gesture Control and 6U8 is not listed as standard, instead it is listed as a stand alone option for $250. However, my preliminary build still lists 6U8 as part of ZPX. I really don't care about this option, I am just saying that there is an inconsistency between the Pricing Guide and my preliminary build.
6U8 (gesture control) has always been listed on the pricing guide as a part of ZPX (Executive Package)

For the M60i it was removed from ZPX shortly after the original pricing guide came out as if it is a standard feature.

@TurtleBoy This isn't the same pricing guide as 2/9/23. Can you attach this version?

Here you go, effective date is still 2/9 but you will see the revisions.

Hi all, quick one: has anyone been clearly advised that air suspension and integral active steering won't be available at all for the first unit built / delivered? Indeed, I'm wondering how they can remove something that is actually standard on some setup (air suspension on 50e and IAS on M60i)...

Air Suspension has been removed as an option from 40i. It is still standard/available on 50e.

Not sure on IAS/M60i.

Nitpicking I suppose, but....I have apparent confirmation that there is no way to have the carbon fiber trim on the X5 40i. I am not fan of wood or brown. I like black and/or metallic details. I suppose the only choice I am stuck with is the Fineline Black Wood trim. I have not seen it in person, hopefully it 'matches' the look that the car with ZMP and ZPP packages would have...

Yea, carbon fiber was never offered on the G05 40i, 45e, 50e and probably never will be.

I actually wanted a light matte wood trim, but the 4 options we are given aren't that great. Thus, I am most likely going with 4LM Fineline Black Wood Trim.

Current X5 50e(maybe 40i) build:
Exterior =Black Sapphire Metallic
Interior = Ivory White Merino
Trim = Fineline Black Wood Trim

I think this combo will look really sharp with the black/white contrast.

Here are some of the best pictures I've gathered of Fineline Black Wood Trim:

Here is a video as well:

I see that Harman and Heads Up Display marked as "Deleted Features" from Executive package in one of the revisions. Is it really true?

If you use the key provided, you'll notice that note is only for the M60i.
But it's not a big deal, because the reason they were deleted from the M60i Executive Package is because they both come as standard on M60i.

Thanks for sharing this. The trim looks amazing. Was contemplating going this route, however am usually not a fan of reflective surfaces close to the windshield due to potential glare. The video kind of solidified my decision to stick to a matte option (may not be as nice looking), but I don't like how the sky/trees are being reflected in the trim in front of the front passenger dash. I guess everyone will have their own feelings and opinions about that.

It looks like you still can't get black wheels on the 50e (in U.S.), unless I'm missing something. Ugh, I wish they'd open up the build on the site! Still has '23MY.

Yes you are correct, here are the wheel options for the 50e.

xLine wheels

Standard (20")

$950 upgrade (21")

M Sport wheels

Standard (20")

$950 upgrade (21")

$950 upgrade (21") - these are a new offering, thus not many pics out there

Air suspension is not standard on M60i. But yea, good luck trying to get it on M60i or 40i right now.

With that said, air suspension is standard and available on 50e. Looks like if you want air, you have to go with the 50e for the time being.
