Share your thoughts Ibiza. But I am still going but yes it's frustrating you don't get a discount on the shipping and handling. Kind of hurt when I was all pumped for going and my dealer later told me he just found out they stopped the hotel and dinner and x5 rides from the airport and hotel etc. I talked to someone at the Marriott that told me the woman in charge of all that had just retired and it appears the changes were related to her departure. The staff at the Marriott even misses it and said it was very well done including BMW logos on the menu and nice welcome packet. Made you feel important and special. Maybe we'll get a nice gift from BMW like I read about on another thread here....lol
I'll be there shortly, as I just stopped by this week for a "sneak peak" as I was driving through the area, had a wonderful conversion with the gentlemen who was prepping my car.

Thanks for the heads up ! I had already booked it using BMW code. Didn't see an option for a performance delivery code. Total price is $481.80 including taxes for two nights. Does that track with what you have? Suggestions on how to fix this for the right code or just wait until I get there?
On another note, I've tracked my production and Saturday morning it was still at item 2 waiting production scheduling. Yesterday morning, Monday, it completed all steps and showed "awaiting carrier assignment". What did they do, build a complete x5 over the weekend in two days??? |

The 'customer' portal for status often isn't as up to date as what the dealer or BMW can view, unfortunately. No good reason why it couldn't be, but that's what appears to be the case.

So got a sucker punch today. Performance center told my dealer they put a “stop sale” on my x5 I was to pick up on 4 march. Dealer had no details other than it was a “remote parking “ issue and said it could be hardware or software but did not know . So I have to tell them if I still want to go to the perf center on 4 march and fly back home and wait for my car to be shipped here or just wait and reschedule everything . Not happy and hope it can be resolved nbut he said something happened to these cars over a 12 day production period.
Don’t know what to do at this point other than hope for a positive update on Monday. I have to tell them by COB Monday what I want to do. That’s messed up. |

I’m hoping they get this resolved quickly. I have to decide by end of day Monday what “I “ want to do which cause me to forfeit airfare and cancel hotel reservations if I don’t go down there and buy a ticket home if it’s not fixed. Talk about taking away all the excitement my wife and I have had |
