Thanks! They are aluminum caps. They don’t replace the existing caps but rather stick on to them. Great quality though.

Late 2022 build X5, second owner, CPO car, 3500 miles, decided somebody should probably finally remove the manufacturing protective tape over the door sill trim at long last!

Full set of WeatherTech HP Liners and Cargo Mat arrived today. Love these things! Have them in my Suburban and also had them in our E70. Really nice mats. Slid right in and absolutely perfect fit.

Also the TrunkNets envelope style mesh cargo net advertised for the G05 X5 on Amazon came in, and is definitely a perfect fit. I wish there were real anchors on the side of the X5 to connect it to like in pretty much every other vehicle I've had, but what's there should be fine.

Up tomorrow hopefully: Ordered a VIOFO A119 Mini 2 dash camera which is already here. I found a 12V plug at the very bottom of the center console in the rear seat area. Nobody will ever be sitting there and it will keep the power cord out of the way, so I think I'm going to see if the cord can reach to that. Not liking the power options up front, so will give that a try.

Fantastic! I've been thinking of painting mine as they look hideous being silver in the engine bay. How tough is that wrap? If someone were to bang it with a wrench, will it tear and expose the silver? Do you think you could double wrap it? Can you post a close up of the area where the bolts are?
