I use to finance my cars and keep them for 8-10 years, I even kept my last E46 330i for almost 12 years and 200k miles, however since around 2015 my jobs location has moved much closer, and finances have been very good so I thought I'd try leasing since I always want the newest and coolest cars on sale, and I don't really trust any of the new tech to last a long time or be as reliable. I would never buy the CLS 53 and keep it out of warranty due to the engine being very complex and a first generation product, but luckily with leasing I can be kept in warranty and still experience all of the cool technology while it works. Interesting that you say only the CLS interior is appealing, its pretty much just a carbon copy of the E-Class interior. |

Almost choked on my bagel while reading that. I think I did 200 miles taking my X3M40D home! Fair play, loving the car change lifestyle!

80% of its ultra high performance is a nugget you won’t hardly ever be able to fully explore on public highways. Let’s look beyond the nuclear missiles sitting dormant under the hood in regular stop and go traffic and focus on something you do every time you get into the vehicle like build material and build quality and even bringing up “Jeep Trackhawk” in the same sentence is crazy. If I can’t use all my high performance as I am fighting traffic, I better be coddled in ultra luxury and tech while I wait to turn my missile keys on the back roads.

Can you tell if that interior is midnight blue/ivory or silverstone? I think it’s the former, but it’s tough to tell in certain lights. |

Does anyone notice the taillights for the US X5M version different than Europe version
US has two red lights working when you applied the brake and the Europe has only one |

Interior is Ivory White/Night Blue. Silverstone would have a darker hue/shade, and BMW is using Ivory White/Night Blue as a press/promotional color for the interior.

Thanks - that's what I thought. The midnight blue looks black in certain lighting in some of these pics/videos. I've seen it in person (in an X7) and its more clearly dark blue. It's an elegant leather choice, but the ivory is just a bit to light for my taste...happy with my choice of SS.
