It's the time waiting in the Garage and setting up the VM for remote coding that I am trying to avoid. |

I updated the code using TB's code provided on the 1st page of this thread through BC - I will report back in a few days after I have tried out the Anti Dazzle at night.

Have you had the chance to try it out? Does the coding with BC bought you the desired features of Anti Dazzle? (I understanding it will not be 100% but 90%?)

I finally got an opportunity to try out the anti dazzle and the lights worked perfectly. I couldn’t discern any difference from when the lights were previously coded remotely. No one flashed. Lights went to high beams on dark roads and stayed on hi beams both when following and with on coming traffic. Good to go

Confirm Anti Dazzle with Laser Lights
Alright. I have Laser Lights on my 2021 X5 and at times do long trips. My high beams turn on automatically and temporarily turn off with on coming traffic. I have done a bunch of Bimmer Coding.
It would be cool to code the Anti-Dazzle on. All I need to do is follow TurtleBoy’s instructions? You may want to try G05_Laser_ECE for LUT_AFS_DRV_HOR since the code below is from someone coding the G20. Obviously you want to use the ECE values and not the US. Attached Images

Correct. In BC expert mode find entries from left column (easier to use keyword search from inside expert mode. They should be defaulted to middle column (US), chenge the selection to right column (Euro). For the last line, select G05 laser. Go slow to ensure you are changing the correct code because many lines appear similar at first look. Good luck.

Not full like the Euro cars. Per Turtle, it is pretty close for us in America.

No, not at all as you can't access all of the ECUs. You can enable a faux version that works very well.

Honestly I m not sure what the difference is. I have had them both ways and I cannot tell any difference. My original coding using Esys got erased during SW update and I now coded it myself using the above code that you provided. Thanks for the code

The code I posted works well. They main thing that you don't have is the access to the KAFAS ecu so I think spotlighting as well as some dimming due to road signs, overall not a big deal.

Perhaps because my car was previously coded using Esys and all ECUs were coded and VO changed and maybe that change to those ECUs survived? : I can never be sure but I observed no difference from earlier coding and now.

That could be the case.

Thing is I very seldom drive at night, so I don't know if I should bother with the faux version. In some ways when the car had the esys version, I found the moving around lighting pattern kind of distracting. Decisions, decisions??? |

Does anyone know if there is a chip based mod? One that plugs into the OBD port to unlock this feature.
One company from their website offers a remote connection but I don’t have Windows, I’m all Apple if that matters. I’m not interested in coding that’s noted here especially if it’s not 100%. |

I have done it. I have nothing to compare it to since this is the only way I’ve tried it. I know it did flash some ECU’s as a part of the process and I can say this the lights appear to “spotlight” road signs.

I have done it multiple times but never involved flashing. What procedure did you follow?
