Got you,
Can you PM me the detailed drawing for this one then, so I can get all measurement and check how much customization I may need to get it to fit on my M50i?
Thanks

Some sort of timeline would def help, specially for people who are on the fence about which exhaust to go with, personally I’d prefer to get the Dinan over some other brand but also don’t wana wait a year lol

Unfortunately, engineering will not share CAD or technical drawings of active product (and in most cases, any product). That said, at minimum its a bumper/diffuser change and an adaption at the mate point to the stock mid (different diameter between the M and M50i). Without physically seeing one to scan and compare directly we can't be 100% sure but the pipe routing appears to be the same between the models however.

Timelines are only valid if you can trust them. No timeline in the last 3 years has been met (for loads of different reasons) so my faith in them is pretty much non-existent. Will it take a year? If it does, then an act of god was likely responsible and something likely blew up or burned down somewhere.

Previous statement still applies -- soon / near term -- being the best I can offer. Not trying to be super pessimistic/dismissive but it sure reads that way. Last few years have been challenging and draining on the production side and I guess it has taken its toll a bit on how I view and/or answer to certain things. My limitations in how I can respond being part of a public company also makes being direct difficult as well. =/

Yeah, if size between L/R tips aren't the same, its not worth it to change bumper.

Good to know, so you can say that with the X-pipe your system makes the car sound like a V8?? It’s always hard to tell from a video and it seems like the X5M exhaust sounds more like 6 in real life

The X5M Comp as an exhaust is probably the worst I’ve ever heard, more like a cat fight out the back than a V8 which I assume is because of the cross-bank exhaust manifold?

If you have been able to overcome this it’s a fine feat of acoustic engineering

Any update (and or photos) on the X pipe please

Anyone running this exhaust with secondary cat delete? Im on the fence with what I want to do. Not sure if I want to get the secondary delete & Dina x pipe and call it a day or do secondary delete with dinan axle back and keep the stock x pipe.

Don't recall ever teasing the X5M exhaust. Was some general posts when we first got the car and then various release content for other parts as they were released. Exhaust was released last October/November which teased the X-Pipe. Should have been released much closer to that but alas.

Remains to be seen how many physical changes (pipe routing / exact dimensions of diffuser, erc) there are with the S68 so impossible to answer at this time.

It was on Instagram. Good to hear the exhaust is finally available. I would have been one of our first customers but ended up with something else that came out sooner.
