Still haven't seen any movement online. I called BMW genius and he said its likely the plant isn't updating the site but mine has been in production for 2 weeks and should be done tomorrow. So, I guess the garage on bmwusa is not reliable but the build date should still be accurate. We shall see tomorrow!

You've nailed it. The web site is very delayed in updating. I had a production date of 8/31. It was supposedly finished that night. Web site updated some time during night of 9/1 / morning of 9/2. It shipped Monday morning. Web site did not say leaving the factory until yesterday (Tuesday). Web site status still "Dispatched from the factory." It has been at the dealer since earlier today.

I'm tentatively scheduled to pick it up tomorrow evening.

While annoying I can understand BMW's supposed desire to under promise a schedule.

You are misunderstanding the status. Production Begins does not mean that assembly has started but rather that a VIN has been assigned and the parts ordered/allocated. Actual assembly takes less than a day and will occur on your production date.

Unfortunately with the driver shortage that is becoming more and more the norm. We have seen some folks waiting a week or so for a truck in some instances.

Has anyone received their MY24 individual order yet? I made the order 2 months ago when they had "an immediate allocation" but I haven't even entered production yet. Really hoping I can receive by the end of the year!

Yes, there was a first round of Individual paint the other month. The next round is coming up so you should be good to go. Your CA or Genius can give you the production week.

Mine has been At the Port status since 8/31, called Genius today to see if I could get a more timely update. The super nice lady I talked to said it was released to the carrier on 9/3. So I am still hopeful that it will be at the dealership any time now, even with pending stops and rest along the way.

Week 35 was last week so it would be finished by now or at least out of assembly. Are you tracking it on MyGarage? What is the status?

Mine was also today. When I looked this morning it was entering assembly line then late today it’s updated to awaiting carrier. My guess is yours is right behind and it will update all the steps at once.

Crazy I ordered this 3 weeks ago today. Hoping it will be at the dealership in ATL early next week!

FYI mine changed from Awaiting Carrier to Dispatched from Factory at around 3:30PM today.

You certainly aren't Week 35 as you are only in Order Received. Give Genius a call to see what your production week is. I would think October or so given your current status.
