SiriusXM is awesome to discover new music. Otherwise I feel 'stuck' with the same playlists (although it's thousands of songs). Currently, can get 3 years for $99, it's a good deal for that discovery, IMO.

When did you get that deal? I just canceled one car (returned lease) and realized I'd been paying too much after my old subscription. The best deal I got was $8 a month, including tax and fees, forever, so that I don't need to call them every year and negotiate. $8 a month is about $5.50 a month before taxes and fees, so I considered it a good enough deal.

After allowing my subscription to expire I got a $5/mo offer in the mail. Ends up being $5.34/month including taxes and royalty fees for 12 months. I’ll cancel towards the end and wait for another offer. Call ,em up and tell them that’s what you want.

Either my wife or I have a subscription depending on which car has the latest subscription. One of us will play off the other via carplay

Yeah, thanks to some internet person whom I can't credit because I don't remember any more, we were tuned into canceling right before the expiration and then waiting for the deal to show up in the mail.

Later I figured out you can just call to cancel when your free trial is close to ending, they'll ask what they need to do to keep you as a customer and you can tell them you want the 5 dollar deal, or you walk. They'll take your offer. That was also after being tipped off by an internet person.

Or at least they used to take it, been a while, as I said I've been streaming for 10ish years now, so that may have changed.

It only works for the 'old' stereos, I think 2016 and older, so it will tell you that you do not qualify. I let mine expire, then chatted with an agent and told them it was the only deal I would accept (which is true). The age of the stereo doesn't make much sense because you can transfer it from one radio to another. After quite a bit of negotiation, they gave it to me, thus saving a customer. That's $99, including all the taxes and fees, which is $2.75/mo. For that price, to me, it's worth it

The very next day I got a $4/mo offer in the mail. Gonna shoot myself for wasting $12

Renew. Same as others, let it lapse, call and they’ll give a special “one time” deal. I do like it, and stern is a big part of why I have it. TBD once he retires
