Per the developer you *MUST* have this adapter for it to work on G-Series vehicles.
https://www.obd-2.de/shop/profi-diag...iagnoseadapter The G05 is still not listed as a supported vehicle. http://www.bimmercodeapp.com/cars/ Possibly the listed has not been updated? |

I have already programmed my g30 using said adapter and bimmercode. The g05 isnt supported yet on bimmercode, well they say it is now because of the update but I will find out at 5. But I did plug this adapter into the g05 2 days ago and it worked fine, I was able to see all the ecu's. Im not sure why you dont think this adapter will work but I assure you it works. But I mean if you dont want to believe thats fine order one from germany. list of adapter that work on bmws and bimmercodeapp. http://bimmercodeapp.com/adapter/

Yep thats the same error I got 3 days ago when someone said the developers at bimmercode said it was working. Well thanks for being the tester, I will still give it a shot when the wife gets home.

I have a 2018 G30 and I successfully used the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE OBD2 and Bimmercode to get rid of the legal disclaimer message and remember my last start stop setting. I got an error message when I tried using the Veepeak on my G05 two weeks ago. I'll try it again tonight now that the app has been updated, but I think we need that German OBD reader or it's a no go.

Bimmercode still doesn't work with the G05, so I wouldn't worry too much about which adapter it says to use at this point. The Veepeak and UniCarScan adapters both support all the same OBD2 protocols, so not sure why the Veepeak wouldn't work just fine. Especially since it has been working fine with the other G series cars that were out prior to the X5.

ACSM, BDC, FZD, and HKFM are the same. Mapping is similar, but some ECU's have additional configuration files and most of new. |

I emailed bimmercode asking when or if they might add more adapters and this is the reply.
Hi, at the moment the only adapter that can handle the amount of data included in the ACSM and the BDC is the UniCarScan adapter. I could have allowed all adapter for coding this units, but it is very likely that coding will fail and you may not even be able to restore the original coding data. Schöne Grüße / Kind regards Stephan Gauch
