Wonder how Sergio Perez feels about having a swastika drawn on his visor...

The Swastika is a Buddhist symbol for "good luck" in India. Not the German Nazi symbol...

Interesting to see Massa's front wing moving side to side so much, 2012 development or just testing weekend aero?

The flex-wing? That thing was scraping the ground! I thought there were rules limiting how much the wing could actually flex?

It's flexing to the point where it almost looks like something is broken or just not secured properly. Definitely far from the smooth flex at speed of the RBR front wing.

Looks like this new 2nd wing flexes just like the RBR wing.

I was between the mclaren and airtel areas today. Should be at airtel tomorrow. The roof was really cool also. I was told the paddock club grandstand area has a good view at turn one so might go there for the beginning of the race at least.

Swastika is a Hindu symbol, it is one of the most important symbols in the religion and basically confers 'good luck' or 'good blessings'. Can't fault Hindus for the fact that the Nazis copied it.

A couple photos from today. I will include more when I get back to NY. The paddock seats are amazing, got the chance to meet a lot of different people. Track is incredible, the facilities are a bit dodgy though.

You can see me VERY briefly. If you watch the pre-qualifying show, there is a section that they do on Force India. During that, they show the free practice incidents; right before and after the free practice incidents section, you'll see a guy in a white shirt walk past Coulthard, which is me. I managed to sneak into the Force India pits with a family friend (guy in a white t-shirt with a beer belly and a DSLR) to meet Sutil and Diresta. If I find the screenshot when I get back to the states, I'll upload it Last edited by Echo M3; 10-29-2011 at 09:21 PM.. |

Genuinely jealous, enjoy and be sure to post some (all) photos from the race! On a more serious note, I'm a bit concerned about Massa's incident. For those that didn't watch, he basically clipped off about a foot of an apex and broke his turn-in wheel's suspension. I see a few cars taking that line throughout the course of a race (esp. if pushed in from the outside). I have a feeling we may see a number of retirements tomorrow... JB/LH starting next to each other should be interesting. SV is too damn good... |
