Either they are so ignorance, in a sense they were also scammed by that profession x-theft. The prof x-theft is really a prof current scammer. They must think us are all stupid. Either way, big alarm for the company's integrity.

From this thread's ideas I got:
- DropStops, never see them but there when needed.
- Armrest compartment tray and
- TrunkNet from amazon.

All quite usefull, thanks to all who chipped in.

3W Cargo mat - interior and trunk bundle from Amazon is great quality and better than BMW OEM (I ordered OEM interior mats very thin, trunk I got 3W)

Also recommend seat belt buckle leather cover to prevent scratches on A pillar

Costco has car wash cloth, throw one in the car to remove dust to keep car clean

Get the 3W matts and cargo cover! Look great with good fit and cheap.

Also, if you can, get the BMW factory nitrous package. It's a little bit costly and takes up some trunk space but totally worth it.

Are there any must have accessories that you recommend?
I'm thinking things like center console/glove box organizers, seatback protectors (often essential when you have young ones), and etc.

I'm definitely going to order Tuxmat floor mats, carmatscustoms.com cargo liner, and do ceramic tint all around.
Anything else that adds to the X5?

Links are appreciated.
The first thing I do is get to the tint shop Front windshield sunroof, all side glass, and back that alone keeps the car much cooler

Anyone get the arm rest tray for the MY2025 50e?

I tried the 2024 version on Amazon and it doesn't fit. Wondering if the MY25 is slightly smaller than the previous versions.

Also get the rear seat floor vent cover from Amazon / Aliexpress, they will save you headaches from trapping objects inside the vent..

Here is an Amazon one:
CHEYA 2pcs ABS Car Under Seat Air... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HQHZPSZ...p_mob_ap_share

I mean why!!! Have you every trap stuff there? Air blow out, so loose item will come out with air flow.

Personally no, because I don’t usually have rear passengers; however there is enough threads about stuff get stuck deep into the vent, you will have a hard time getting them out

And then for $15 there is the aesthetic appeal to have these covered, the uncover vent looks very out of place in my opinion.

A drop-stop is a must have for the X5. My key fob fell in between the console and seat - what a pain.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Like five holes in the wheel are pretty...
I have the rimguards on my car and I dont mind how they look at all - mine are black (on a white car with black trim) so kinda 'match' the car pretty well.
Besides, I got mine for free anyways, so stuck em on!

The rate of theft often is tied to the quantity of similar vehicles there are out there…the more vehicles, the more demand there may be for the parts…then, the other thing is availability…the harder you make it to steal something, and the longer it takes, results in more exposure to the thieves, so they tend to look elsewhere unless they already have a customer. Nothing will prevent a determined thief with the opportunity and means to relieve you of something you have. But, insurance also comes with a cost and inconvenience in trying to remedy the situation if it does happen to you with deductibles, and whether they’ll deny it or raise your rates, and then there’s the time lost that money from insurance often won’t or can’t make you whole again.

I'm buying Tuxmats, a cargo area mat, a couple new neoprene seat covers as I run a lot and I try not to sit on the seats when I'm soaked in sweat. I need a front license plate mount if I don't just use velcro, I don't want to drill in the bumper.

I'll probably buy dedicated summer wheels/tires next spring and keep the ones it comes with for winter. I always keep a bag in my vehicles with a jump starter, a few small safety items, etc.

This thread kinda went quiet - any other accessory recommendations? Especially reversible ones that those that lease can implement and return to stock if needed. I had replaced the puddle lights on my X3 to project the M logo, I haven't seen that option for the X5. I also installed a fitcamx integrated dash cam but with drive recorder, that's less of a need.

If you didn’t get the night vision option when it was available, and want that capability, there is at least one aftermarket system that can be added. Useful if you regularly drive in the country and want a heads up on deer or similar, or maybe even the kid on a bike at night without lights. It’s not cheap, but neither was the option when available. I thought about it, but decided it wasn’t worth it to me given when and where I drive the vast majority of the time. Never used it, but thought about it…InfiRay NV2. Amazon used to carry it, but stopped…maybe quality issues?
