So Herb Chambers BMW Boston lied about when they realized they needed to cancel my appointment. And then they didn't cancel my appointment despite having 11 days to do so. And then they lied about the real reason for the cancellation. Well, actually there is a fix, but other vehicles are prioritized. That's service!
I understand BMW prioritizing cars with issues, but after that should come existing rather than future potential customers. |

The automatic apologist stance for... what now seems a notoriously bad service center... is odd.
I was there. This happened: 1. I stood in front of the service rep while he told me that the notice to pause was issued on Thursday 8/15. 2. They never cancelled my appointment despite having 11 days. 3. The service rep said the pause was for unclear reasons. Best case, that was a lie of omission. Herb Chambers BMW Boston lied to me today. In the grand scheme, not a big deal, but I won't be buying more cars from them. |

Update: I talked to my local dealer and they said they’ll prioritize us and give us a loaner till till our part is here. Especially bc we want to sell our X5M, we don’t want to add unnecessary miles due to the fact we ourselves can’t sell it bc of the recall.
Hopefully the end is in sight. |

Hi everyone, Ukraine is here for the same problem too. Our dealers were informed to inform every customer about it and that's it. When the solution appears, they will call me to visit their center for repairing. But for now they are just instructed to inform every customer about this problem
