My X5 M60i completed production on its scheduled date of Tuesday, 4/28, and was at status 182 "Schedule for Carrier" until Friday morning, 5/1. It's now at status code 190 "Dispatched from Factory" and my dealer expects it to arrive by Tuesday, 5/5, here in Arizona.

Will take some getting used to since coming from about 1.5yrs in a Tesla. The rear wheel steering also surprised me pulling into my driveway for the first time…thought I had hit a patch of ice despite it being in the 60s outside lol

I can imagine the rear wheel steering will take some getting used to 😂. I have always wondered the impact on tyre wear for the rear wheels.. will be intrigued to know.. such a cool feature!

You won’t see body or paint shop from Spartanburg facility. Bodies are pre-built/painted and ready for the assembly line. It takes only about 4 hours to assemble. Congrats!

Unfortunately, still sitting on 112 - Scheduled for Production with no VIN yet. Hopefully should have some updates this week. Mine is supposed to be assembled Week 21 and going by my calendar it says Week 21 is the week of May 24th. So should have an update either this week or beginning of next week for the actual production date. Thanks for asking

Since mine is production week 20 and it entered status 150 last Thursday, expect yours to enter Thursday or sometimes this week for sure, too.

Dang, this whole waiting time is killing me, considering that I also set up the PCD for it, which needs to be before I go out on vacation in June....

Yikes! That’s cutting it close. Mine will get on the train within a day or two after final assembly. Last time it still took 12 days before it made it to Toronto and then 2 days to get to the dealership. And then of course I still have to wait for the dealership to do their PDI before they will release it. Last time I gave them 8 days and it still wasn’t ready when I picked it up.
Good luck with it being ready before your vacation. Hopefully you will have a couple of weeks before you are on vacation!

I wish... I leave the country on June 19th on vacation, so I am quite tight on schedule. The car is assumed to be done on May 16th, which is next Saturday.

Let's see what these more experienced guys around here in PCD say, whether it is doable to have it delivered before I go out on vacation or not.

I will get back though after July 4th.

The production schedule often has built-in gaps so we see movement to a day or two earlier about a week out.

Ordered my X5 xDrive40i on April 14 and it just arrived at the dealership this afternoon. Hopefully it’ll be ready to pick up tomorrow or Friday.
