That is pretty normal nowadays given the driver shortages. It is all a matter of when carriers are available.

Just called the dealer. He said car is at processing center. I didn't order any accessories. He mentioned BMW is pushing all cars on order versus inventory shipments. Current status is Tuesday or Wednesday delivery to dealer. I am in Florida and 9 hours from Spartanburg.

Just called dealer. He states the car was release on 12/14 to carrier. It seems like they don't know when its actually on a carrier and expected to arrive. Is this normal?

That is good news. My dealer yesterday said they were very confident we would take delivery before Christmas. They must have been told something similar.

Just FYI, vehicles don't go to a processing center after the factory. They are just trying to make you feel like they know something.

Does this “at the port” mean we’re actually ready to ship out, or does it go backwards (and then back to “at the port” again later) since we have an extra stop for floor mats?

At the Port means it is at the Accessories Center. When it leaves there you will go into Dispatched or In Transit status.

Hi all - newbie to the forum. This is my first allotment order, and pretty excited as the prod. date has moved up nearly two weeks from 1/4/24 to 12/22/23 (thanks for the F12 hack!)

I ordered on a Saturday, wasn't made aware of PCD until post-order submission. I called Monday morning to request PCD. GM CC'd me on an email to the factory in an attempt to add PCD - no word back yet. I'm told it is possible - any suggestions??

12/9: 112/Ordered
12/11: 150/ Initial PD 1/4/24
12/17: 150/PD updated to 12/22/23

As much as I'd like to have the car sooner, I'm willing to wait a few extra weeks for PCD. I'm relocated to the South Carolina area for a few months for work, so a PCD would be super easy.

It can update at any time although it is not in real time. Enjoy the day and check it after dinner to see if you are in QC or Awaiting Carrier.
